Anthracite Beans, Deep-mined Anthracite straight out of the welsh valleys just like it has been for the last 200 years.
This fuel ideal for gravity fed and hopper fed boilers, some multi fuel closed appliances and rayburns, can be burned in conjunction with other fuels as well.
Smaller than Anthracite nuts, Anthracite beans have a consistent size and produce no tar when burnt. This fuel highly dependable and reliable solid fuel, it provides a uniform flame at consistently high temperatures. Beans are the second smallest chippings available of this type of fuel – Low flame, low ash – Suitable for burning in Smoke Control Areas.
